The Campaign
1. Kia are the sponsors of independent cinema in the UK. We have arranged to reward certain contacts with cinema tickets valid at selected cinemas in the UK. This reward takes the form of a claim code which we mail to selected contacts which may be used to claim the cinema ticket voucher.
How to claim
2. Recipients of the email will find a “Claim Code” within the body of the email.
3. There will also be a link to the website kiacinematickets.com.
4. Recipients who wish to claim an independent cinema ticket should click on the link and complete the claim process by…
a. Entering their claim code
b. Selecting a participating cinema via the postcode finder tool (which lists the cinemas closest to a postcode which is entered)
c. Entering the details requested on the website which may include name, postal address, email address or other details.
5. Depending upon the cinema selected, cinema vouchers may take the form of physical (paper) tickets which will be despatched via second class post within 5 working days of claim, or ecode (sent by email at the time of claim).
6. The promoter is not responsible for the non-delivery or non-receipt of vouchers of any type though we would ask any participant who is not in receipt of their voucher to contact us.
7. Claims must be complete by the 28th February 2024.
The Cinema Ticket Vouchers
8. Cinema vouchers are specific to the cinema chosen during the “How to Claim” process and cannot be used at any other venue.
9. Each cinema has their own specific terms and conditions (provided with the voucher) however several conditions are common to all cinemas as follows:
a. The physical or e-voucher is for single use only and must be surrendered upon redemption.
b. Each e-voucher or physical voucher is valid for one entry to a scheduled film (not concert, theatre production or other “non-film” event) in a standard seat. Upgrades for special types of screening or premium seats are at the discretion of the cinema and may require an upgrade.
c. Some cinema partners charge an online booking fee and some cinemas may not allow bookings online using the voucher, please check your chosen cinema for details.
d. Vouchers are valid until at least the 30th June 2024
e. Vouchers cannot be replaced if lost or stolen, vouchers that have not been used by the 30th June 2024 are void and cannot be extended.
f. Entry using the vouchers is subject to normal film classification restrictions, proof of age may be requested by the venue.
g. Vouchers will not be accepted if illegible, defaced or damaged. Photocopies of vouchers will also not be accepted.
h. Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
i. No cash alternative available, voucher is not transferable and cannot be re-sold. The reward is for the cinema entry only, travel, accommodation, parking and any other incidental cost is not included in the reward.
j. The list of participating cinemas is subject to change and may be amended at any time.
k. Vouchers are subject to your chosen cinema’s standard terms of admission. The cinema reserves the right to refuse admission and the manager’s decision is final.
General
10. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon claiming their cinema ticket voucher.
11. Personal data supplied during the course of selecting your preferred cinema, may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment and delivery of your paper vouchers.
12. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the recipient of the reward or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the reward except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
13. The reward will be governed by English law.
14. The promoter is Kia UK Limited, Walton Green, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey KT12 1FJ (company number 04415807).
Product Terms and Conditions
The vouchers we provide to you are subject to the following terms and conditions.
- This voucher may be exchanged for one adult ticket to any standard 2D performance at select cinemas within the UK.
- This voucher may only be used once as advised. Paper vouchers must be redeemed by presenting it in person at the box office (not valid for redemption online or via telephone).
- Admission is subject to availability; this voucher does not give the bearer priority over other guests. Normal age restrictions apply – ID may be required.
- This voucher applies to standard seats and 2D screenings only. It may be possible to upgrade your voucher (e.g. for 3D), this will need to be arranged with the individual cinema and additional uplift charges may be payable. Not valid for any alternative content or special screenings.
- This voucher must be redeemed by 30/06/2024, after this date your voucher will become invalid and will not be refunded or replaced.
- This voucher will not be accepted if it’s illegible, defaced or damaged. Photocopies of paper vouchers will also not be accepted.
- Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
- No cash alternative available, voucher is not transferable and cannot be re-sold.
- Single use only; the voucher cannot be re-instated once redeemed (this includes if you cancel your booking) and is not replaceable if lost or stolen.
- The list of participating cinemas is subject to change and may be amended at any time.
- This voucher is subject to your chosen cinema’s standard terms of admission. The cinema reserves the right to refuse admission and the manager’s decision is final.
